Are Pekin hens broody?

Our Silkies are more broody, but that doesn’t mean the Pekins aren’t. Our Pekins go most of the year without being broody, but when they do get broody (1-3 times a year) they will just sit for 1-2 months only coming down for food and water. Our Silkies get broody more often but only for 2-4 weeks at a time. I don’t think one is necessarily better then the other. Both get broody at different times. Pekins are less skittish then Silkies, so if you wanted a pet to hold and hug I’d choose them. If you want to get a few of both that’s fine too, I keep my silkies and Pekins together, and I’ve never had a problem. I hope everything goes well :)
