lol, i have no problem with the diapers themselves (heck i dress my dogs because their hairless)
its the treating the animal like its a human then getting frustrated and dumping the animal at an already overcrowded rescue facility when the animal develops issues, grows up, isnt as cute anymore, hits sexual maturity, or starts acting like the ANIMAL it is thats the problem.
again its a different matter when someone with the knowledge and experience is caring for these animals. but as house PETS for the average person, they are simply not a good choice because they are after all wild animals, not human babies.
(but i also feel the same way about all animals, they should be respected as animals...you wouldnt get a tiger and treat it like a house cat, you wouldnt get a toy breed dog and treat it like a wild wolf...
lets face it MOST people that get primates as pets get them for 1 reason...they are obsurdly CUTE...they forget that that animal has large teeth, strong hands and fingernails and as that animal grows up its instincts to develop a social heirarchy within its family unit is still going to exist, its desire to choose a mate is going to grow stronger...
in the right hands where these animals are respected for what they are they are amazing animals...
but in the wrong hands (the average PET owner) they can become unpredicatble and confused.
