I have a hen ( Greasy) and this is her first time hatching any babies. She's approximately 3-4 days away from hatching the eggs but the only problem I just found out is that she doesn't have any hay under her eggs. I don't know if this will affect the egg hatching or will prevent them from hatching. The eggs are laying on the metal wires and I'm afraid the temperatures won't be enough for them to hatch. What do I do? Should I move hay under the eggs?
I don't own an incubator or anything so please help and thank you!

At this point in the incubation, I would hope for the best and not bother her. Good luck for a successful hatch.

Okay thank you so much, I was worried I had to do other procedures and stuff. If she does hatch it'll be a miracle because she my little old baby 🤣

UPDATE!!!

My apologies for not writing the update sooner but the eggs hatched! We had one that unfortunately passed away and like 2 eggs didn't get to hatch. Now we have 4 white silkies and 3 grey and they are beautiful! They were born on june 12 or somewhere around that time, it was so quick! Thanks all
