Are There Any Hen Breeds That Are Protective of People?

I’m just curious, are there any hens that are protective of a specific person, or will become aggressive toward some people, but not others? This question just came to my mind, and I figured somebody here would be able to answer it.

I don't know of any. I've had geese that were.

The only time I’ve had an aggressive hen is when it’s typically very well hand raised.

I think that would kind of depend on the individual bird. I don't know if a hen would protect a person though. I had a hen that came to me whenever she was scared, and she would bury her head in my neck.
A rooster might a protect a person. I've never owned one though, so I'm not sure.

Chickens are both predator and prey animals. They won't behave like a guard dog if that is what you mean by protective.
Usually hens are not human aggressive. Some roosters can become human aggressive but that is usually the result of human behavior that doesn't align with what works for the flock.

i went out in my flip flops to let the hens out of the coop and gonzo, my BO hen grabbed up a small snake that i hadnt seen that was right by my foot. can't say whether that was protective or just looked tasty though lol
