So much of it is used to further someone's argument. That is sad. And a lot depends on how the original writing was translated, and the interpretation given to the English version. English itself has changed enormously over time.

Its just, frusterating. I am glad to see more and more Christians supporting gay people. The church up my street has pride flags bordering the church (people steal them, though).. but I've also seen churches with weird messages like "gay is a sin" and "love is a choice".. it just makes me sigh

One thing that happened to me a while ago, (BCE*) I went to my aunt and uncles house to sleepover, because my their one daughter and I are like, 6 weeks apart and really good friends. Her other cousin (who I also am friends with) came over the one day while I was there, and in the evening, we were all standing in the kitchen, and they started s*** talking the LGBTQ+ community. (This was before I started having doubts about my gender) Like my cousins cousin: " This year we've got sister Ethan in our class." Everyone else: Starts the crappy conversation. And btw, my aunt knows full well that my older sister is gay. I'm not sure if she told my cousins or not though. I was so mad, with them just talking like that directly relates to my sister. I wanted to scream, and cry, but I was too scared. I hate myself for it. What was I supposed to do against; my aunt, my like 18 year old cousin, my really good friend cousin, my younger cousin, plus, my cousins aunt, and her 3 kids.

One Christmas, my sister came to my Grandmas, with her gf, brother, and sister (she usually doesn't) and I'm pretty sure my cousin thought that her gf was her bf. Not entirely her fault though, with the way her family acts. :barnie :he:rant

Oh no :(

I am terrified of my parents finding out. i try and be a good friend and a good ally, online, and offline, but i have to tiptoe around my parents!

See my parents are conservative and I grew up in a church so I was terrified and was never gonna tell them but when they found out about my ex (gf at the time) they honestly could have gave a rats ass. It was surprising but I was like okay 😂

My older brother was the first person to ever know and he's my best friend. I was super nervous just the way he talked about them that it would ruin our relationship but we went on our bike ride together around the neighborhoods and he told me that he was cool with whatever cause I'm his little sister ❤️ UGHHHH MY HEART
