Are there any super common breeds of duck that you can tell their gender by sight right away? (Like within four days of them being hatched)

i am still trying to learn how to vent sex. As my black East Indie don’t have the nifty trick of the bill.
But like i said not all lines are strong with that sexing by Bill color. I did have one duckling that was a 50/50 bill color and couldn’t guess the sex until he was older.
I learned from a Metzer video on YouTube, first hand watching on a farm, and using my day old ducklings (after video and first hand watching).

I did 3 ducklings last hatch... 2/3 are quacking. I'm hoping the other one starts quacking soon since it's my husband's duckling he picked.

Sadly doesn’t work with mixes to my knowledge. If they are pure welsh the girls would have had a dark bean and light colored bill at hatch, and males have an all dark Bill and bean.

@Pyxis might correct me if I am wrong on sexing mixes of this breed, but I am pretty sure on it.

Yep, doesn't work on mixes. Doesn't work as well in well-bred lines, either. Holderread found that in WH that most closely matched the breed standard, it worked 70% of the time, compared to 90% in hatchery lines.

The title says it all. By super common I mean like kinds you can find at tractor supply. I want to make sure I get three ducks and no drakes. It’s almost $100 to ship three ducks to where I live and I’m just not sure that’s in my budget. If there aren’t, I will wait until some of my friends hatch their duck eggs and vent sex them. Thank you!

I think your best bet would be to visit a local breeder or hatchery, have them sex the ducklings for you and pick them up.
