Are there partridge Ameraucanas?

I nad a white ee roo

I think what speckeldhen was saying is that there are only a few colors that are actually named not that EEs don't come in those colors.

Whoa wait, EEs don't come in white? I have a solid white EE that lays gorgeous olive green eggs. I know she's an EE because I hatched her myself out of eggs from own flock. I did find it odd that she is white though since I don't own any white chickens other than her. Another white EE hatched but was taken by a fox. I'm so confused now..lol.

OK, just read the above post clarifying. Thanks.

Yes, y'all need to re-read my post. I said that other than white, black, blue, etc, the colors don't actually have names. Certainly there are white and black and blue EEs, but many of them are a partridgey-like coloration.

Here is what my chipmunk EE's are turning out to be.

This is a Silver Americauna Picture. Straight from the Americauna Breeders club website. These look like the same markings as yours.

Wow, this is an old thread!

No, those Silver Ameraucana chicks are not the same. If you notice, their base fuzz is much lighter than the chick in question in this thread, though that bird is now over 2 years old, LOL!

Weird! I thought Ameraucanas and EEs were the same breed.
I heard Araucanas and Ameraucanas have different... everything, but EEs were just another name for Ameraucanas.
They are growing so fast! 1 week old and you can already see the coloring in the new wing feathers.
i would have said yes, just ameraucanas have a specific colour, if they dont then theyre EE (could be anything)

u gotta have blue and a chocolate brown to be producing olive green eggs and get them that dark, thats a lot of brown
dunno what genes carry white feather though if she is the only one

actually back to the partridge question, i was told this is a partridge araucana (obviously no tufts. would be a good mate with a tufted, IF SHE GENUALLY IS ONE) she is rumpless
