Are these black silkies worth $30?

NO! Those are highly over exaggerated on their quality, I have seen much better birds sell for that.
Then again, they are worth what ever someone will pay for them. With the silkie craz going on, I am sure someone will snatch them up. I generally sell off those type for about $10 each, or give them to an old man down the road just to give him some to play with.
Those in the picture, I dont think would qualify even as breeder quality birds though in my opinion....

I would not pay 20$ I would pay 10-15 $ tops-especially since they said they are not in the best shape because they are broody?

I thought it was a bit crazy priced when i first saw it. It irritates me when people put things on there that are WAY over priced. Some chick on there tried selling me hatchery EEs as Ameraucanas for $20 one time.

shoot I sell my split lav silkies for 5$ apiece--I pick the ones I want at hatch and sell the rest as chicks-the ones I keep for a while then sell 10$ just to get rid of them...I did trade a lady for a black bearded roo last year for a black bearded hen during molt-well worth it! and it really didnt cost me anything except 30 days in quarateen

right? Im hatching out a bunch of them and plan on only keeping up to 5 girls but I dont need 50 chicks haha

Most breeders sell PQ birds for $15-20. The birds in the top photos are certainly worth $30. Some of the ones in the bottom photo look like they are lower quality--in particular one looks to have a red comb that may be single.
