I wouldn't risk it. This webpage https://www.beefresearch.ca/topics/mycotoxins/ is aimed at cattle farmers, but will give you an idea of what may be growing on those grains.View attachment 3412539
Hey guys, I got 20kg of wheat online and I found some of them are blackened...is this safe to feed my ducks? Thank you in advance!
Thank you for your reply! I have contacted the seller and they said it's just different colors...Do you think I should contact the producer?I wouldn't risk it. Have you contacted the seller about it?
that's nonsense - the blackness is spreading from one end of the grain. They should provide a refund or replacement as the feed is not fit for purpose.I have contacted the seller and they said it's just different colors...
I agree. I doubt it because I've seen wheat in another shop they don't have any black ones. I'll contact the producer tmrw see how they say. Anyways thank you so much!that's nonsense - the blackness is spreading from one end of the grain. They should provide a refund or replacement as the feed is not fit for purpose.
Righto I'm so disappointed in them...thinking of changing my supplier now...I definitely wouldn't risk it. Better to be cautious when it comes to something like this. I'm sorry that the seller is refusing to hear it.
