Are these chicks old enough to go outside???

They def need to get out of the brooder and streach there wings a bit..Maybe after all this rain is done I will give it a try.

I have my month olds out in the coop with a light, I'm in Epsom... Should be fine.

I know when I graduated mine from the brooder to a bigger pen (next stage before the big girl/boy house) they grew and developed almost overnight! That was at 3 weeks and we kept the lamp for them over the next 3 weeks until temps stopped dropping into the 40's. Now they huddle together in their wood shavings, if it gets chilly, but mostly want to roost!

Again, after they graduated to their new environment they matured a lot! Even the one I had that seemed pitiful is thriving with more space, fresh air, and sunlight.

Thanks everyone. I think im going to be setting them up this weekend. We are suppose to get some good weather so it would be perfect. How soon could you intrduce them to the older birds?

i have buff os and speckled sussex i just stuck out side with bigger chickens?
i introduced them at nite

Chickenlady81, how do your pugs like your chicks? My pug is afraid of them! I'm hoping he'll come around so he can be on cat patrol by the time the chicks move outside.
