I was thinking the same thing. If I’m not mistaken, California whites are derived from white leghorns, so they should be smaller birds. Now that I look at them, they do appear like Cornish, more heavy set with thick legs.If they're younger than the rest, but the same size all of a sudden, are you sure they're California Whites? TSC is notorious for having miss marked chicks. If they're growing at a faster rate than the others they may be Cornish x, a meat bird that should be culled at 8-10 weeks old.
