are these cockerels?

Hey guys heres an updated photo of one of the ones I think is a roo. His/hers comb has gotten redder and bigger and red wattles are starting to develop and its breast feathers coming in have a lot of white on them so I'm pretty much 100% convinced its a cockerel

I still think it's a hen. At that size, my barred rock roos and hens were unmistakable. Plus the coloration is similar to all my hens. The roo was a light gray color.

That looks like it could be a black sexlink cockerel. It's too dark to be a pure Barred Rock cockerel. But that comb is too pink, too early for it to be a pullet.

Here's a picture to understand the difference in coloration. I never considered this could be a sexlink chicken because of the barring pattern.

Male sexlinks feather out like a pure bred pullet because they both only have a single barred gene. Purebred males are lighter because they have two barred genes.

It's a Barred Rock. I'm still going with pullet...I'll dig some pics up for you of mine... The pullet with the biggest comb and waddles matured first and was the lead hen. She was bigger and badder from day one lol...

Alright thanks imactually kinda hoping it's a roo so I can breed them

This is my cockerel at 3 wks and now at 8 wks he was also suppose to be a she out of 16 ordered that were all suppose to be pullets I have 2 def cockerels and 1 in ? All different breads

Color aside, that comb is too pink, too early.

Ok here was my fastest maturung BR, at 8 weeks... Gave me an extreme close up lol

And here she is at 15 weeks, prior to onset of lay...she started squatting at 16 weeks, and laying at 17.

You can always hope you have a roo lol
