Are these egg yolks supposed to be moving?

On day 2. Trying to see the "blood island" forming, but only seeing a dark blob at the top of the shell (when I hold it upright) it moves a little bit. Is it dead? What does this mean?

I wouldn't try to determine if any are 'dead' or not viable until day 7 at the earliest. Because some are slow to form, And if you aren't sure what you are looking for you may toss out several viable eggs.

I'll take your word for it and wait till day 7 or 8, toss out none that started and keep the rest... What are signs of a dead chick ?

a dead chick in early stages will cause a thick blood ring in the egg.
