Are these emu eggs fertile? Hatchalong

May have pulled the 1/7 eggs for wiggle test already

Not kidding, one of them flickered twice. I’m losing it

No brooder set up yet… get home too late from work. I better get with it this weekend or a baby emu is going to be sleeping with me.

I need an update! How many eggs are still in the incubator, vs pulled eggs, vs live emu?

She has 13 eggs all together, shes pretty sure the 12 14 eggs aren't going to hatch but she keeping them in the bator in case, the 12 16 eggs are supposed to hatch feb 4 but she expects it to hatch earlier. I think I got all those facts right

All the eggs have different set dates. So they will be pulled from the incubator to a hatcher/brooder as they get close to potential hatch day. I don’t believe the two 12/14 eggs are alive. So the next potential hatch date is 2/2 to 2/4. Which is one egg that was set 12/16.

Here’s a post from a few pages back with the first three set dates…

49 to 52 days to hatch (on average) the incubator has been running a bit high 97.7 to 98.8

2 set December 14th - 2/1 to 2/4

1 set December 16th - 2/3 to 2/6

2 set December 26th - 2/13 to 2/16

They could possibly wiggle day 32 and on. Most people see them wiggle day 36. January 15th the first two eggs could start to wiggle.
