Hi!
I really need help from all the experts. I have Giant Blue and Giant Black Cochins.

I can't tell who is Roo or Pullet with the Blacks. Their body shape seems different to me and they all seem to have a comb and wattle. So I don't know if I have all Roo blacks or if some are Pullets.
Please help me identify them! If it seems like I have duplicated, I probably have but that's because alot of them look exactly alike.

Looks like you'll be getting some egg soon! There might be one roo in there. I have them too- but seperated them early on when the roos became noticeable.
When they are all togther- any roos will be significantly bigger with a longer tail that isn't as rounded. Blues are easier- you can pretty much tell by the coloring on them.

You are serious? Whoa! Yeah! Thank you!

I was sure they were almost all Roos. The Giant Blue and Spash pullets have almost no wattle or comb and I just figure that these were Roos that hadn't finished developing.

They are starting to get red on them, you think they might lay soon?

#4 pic might be a roo, just not sure, looks like saddle feathers coming in but not 100% positive. The rest look like pullets.

Phlyinphebee, I forgot the exact date but think they are between 16-20 weeks. I had so many different ones hatching out around then.
Yes they sure are hard to tell who is who!

Tuffoldhen, thank you. I have spent hours out there since people have posted and I think I only have the one Roo and 5 hens. The hens are so big that they looked like roos. But the actual Roo really struts around and his wattles are bigger.
