Hi, so confused about these ducks: found abandoned by a road and need advice please. Are they Pekins or Aylesburys? Young or old? And more importantly are they males or females or a mix of both? Their feathers are in bad condition so I don't know if I don't see the curly tails because of their condition, or because they are all females or too young? 2 have brighter beaks, but info online is confusing and maybe nothing to do with gender?? None are laying yet. Been with us a week and half but it is just end of March and awful weather here, so maybe why they dont lay yet. I need to know genders to rehome them as currently in rescue. Please help! Many thanks

They look kind of small, so either they are not done growing or they are Pekin mixes with some smaller breed. That's my guess, anyway.

If they are old enough, they can be sexed by their voices. Females have a louder quack, and males have a softer, more raspy quack.

Thanks. I can't decide from their quacks as they sound a bit different to all the videos I watched. They are really loud and when picked up they stop making noise as really scared. Very different to our male runners of course. What do you think from these videos?
