Are these Mites/Louse or what? How to treat naturally and effective? Please help!!!

Personally I prefer using DE. Permethrin may be of natural origin and breaks down, but is still a poison. But this infestation may be to bad to treat with DE ?

I always put a few spoons DE in the sand bath when I fill it up. I never had such feather lice.

@BDutch I tried to use a bunch of natural things before finally just getting the permethrin. DE, some essential oils, a mixture of both... I lost a few birds in the process. It wasn't worth it. I had a bad infestation, so I do agree, OP will probably just have to go straight to the permethrin...

My daughter says she saw one poop with blood. Wondering if this is the cause. Thanks!

Pics of bloody poop would be good. Most the time red in poop is just some intestinal shedding.

Absolutely.

I never had such feather lice on my chickens.

Then you don't really know if DE would have killed them.
