Are these quail???

I believe these are quail (which is why I posted this here) because of their roundness, the fact that their social, and they don't exactly fly.

They didn't sound like usual quail, more like guinea fowl honestly, they could just be a different bird altogether

Those are chukars (partridges). The sad little one in the bottom pic is missing it’s pear tree.

Thats interesting! Did some reaserch on them and apparently there more pheasant than quail. Not sure if there native here in nevada but there adorable nonetheless

They are imported to North America as a game bird like pheasants.

Those are chuckers and they are not native to North America.
