Are these rooster saddle feathers, roo at all?

Also the color says roo for EE the females are almost always plain colored

I would have to say roo....

I also have a cochin/ee cross that is about 9 weeks old and has a huge RED comb, his sister (same cross) has no red in her tiny comb.

sorry it took me so long.... uploading was taking forever.

Here is a front and rear view of him

I dont really notice anything regarding his feathers that screams roo to me. But he is much bigger than his sister, and well the comb is very red.

Edited to add: mother is a Standard cochin, I didnt notice if you you mentioned bantam or standard. I dont know if it would matter.

He is standard, thanks for the pics! He looks just like mine but mine has silver bleed through coming in for the hackles and is mainly a shiny blue-black with a bit of grey on his belly. His comb is also different, it's sort of a cross between a pea comb and a rose comb.

Can you post a pic with a view of his saddle feathers? Sorry if I'm bothering you!
