Are these saddle feathers?

He's a cockerel, but just for the record both sexes have saddle feathers, it's the shape, texture and coloring that differs. Also those aren't male sex-specific saddle feathers yet, but from the looks of things he'll be getting them soon. He probably has his nice shiny thin ones coming in as pin feathers already, but at 11 weeks he should get them real soon.

thanks! Yeah he is crowing now so def a boy. I bought at 9 weeks to avoid getting a male but he’s here now! Hopefully my silkie roo likes him.
