Are these true Buff Orpingtons??

Thanks everyone. We were skeptical about them. But they are SUPER friendly, and sweet. We are praying they are all female and don't end up being loud mouths, so far they are pretty quiet.

They sure don't look like my buff orpintons. My buffs are about 8 weeks old and they never look like that when they were getting their feathers in. Here is a picture of them when they where just a little over a week old. Here is a picture of them now at about 8 wks old As you can see they do have pinkish legs. I hope these pictures helped you.

Cute Chicks!!!!!

Well I was having the same questions about my two BOs that I got from the feed store. Here are the two posts that I put out there and you can see what I heard from everyone. They sure don't seem to be BOs. Mine were very light with gold stripes going down their backs. They also have the same color legs as yours.

Thanks for the pictures! Yeah, these guys(or girls) are getting more and more really dark feathers in. So I am now positive they are not Buff Orps. Bummer. But they are still cute and pretty friendly. Now to figure out what they really are!
