Are these welsumers?

We have a bad habit of picking up new chicks almost every time we stop in rual king...they also have a bad habit of not knowing this breed from that breed or really anything about the chicks. Considering he told me they get moved around a lot due to people and kids playing with them..they MIGHT be welsumers they might NOT be. Any guesses? They’re only about 3 days old..
They also have a reddish tint almost to their beak

hi,
IV seen other posts on byc and people are getting confused with this breed of chick
im quite sure wellsummer as its distinctive stripes on their backs
 
sorry me again,
when I looked closer at the pictures I saw woodshaving in the water.
correct me if im wrong, but its very harmful for the chicks and always keep the water cleen
 
Yes you’re right, Wood shavings. A ton of them. That’s just over night, they do more damage during the day. :lol:The water gets changed plenty, I just happen to take pictures first thing this morning.

So you are saying you think it is because of the stripe possibly?
