Are they laying

So my friends. How do I determine if all my pullets are laying?

You can check their pelvic bones below their vent. If you can fit two fingers between them, she's either real close, or is laying.

If you can't fit anymore then one figure between them, then she's not laying yet.

Bright red combs, squatting....eggs....

Yes I have some of those. Just am not sure if all 7 pullets are laying. Most are squatting and have red combs.
