Today I bought these chicks. The seller told me they are silver sebright but I don’t think so. He told me that after sometime there will be more white features comes in. I think they are cross breed of silver sebright. My question is are they pure breed of silver sebright or cross with some other chicken breed and second are they both hen or roosters. Thanks

How old are they? I'm not sure about purity of breed. They have the correct combs and leg colour for sebrights but the lacing is very poor. It will develop more but it will probably not improve drastically. It is possible they have mixed heritage. For example rosecomb bantams are most commonly full black and have very similar features. These could be at least part rosecomb bantam.

I personally think they are a mix of something else and seabright. I dont have a seabright, but a friend does and I've seen quite a few on here and they pencil in better than that early on. As far as sex, without knowing how old they are, we can only guess. Right now they look like pullets.
