I can only say that Hooves supplies the chicks and ducks to TSC in west Tennessee and none of them are ever vaccinated.I know this is an old thread, but I would like to have any updates if available.
TSC gets the majority of their chicks from Hoover's Hatcheries. Hoovers does NOT vaccinate their chicks, except upon request or where required by State law. (Similar language in their catalogues, going back at least a decade). Hoovers, like other large hatcheries, routinely tests their breeders for disease, and maintains closed flocks. In that way, they virtually guarantee the eggs from those birds are also free of the diseases tested for.I know this is an old thread, but I would like to have any updates if available.
