Are we giving this girl a complex calling it "him"? :)

Well, the black one is not a black sex link. She has a pea comb.
Now I'm really confused, lol. Only thing I felt slightly confidant was on that one. Not so much breed, though..as sex. Because she supposedly came out of the pullet bin when we got them. But, honestly..I have to refer back to my notes on my phone to remember what breed they even told me. As it didn't matter too much. I've already forgotten what breed the brown one was. I'd have to look at my phone, or back to page one to refresh my memory.
I'm just clueless...but trying to learn :)

What exactly is an EE? Is that like..a mutt?

We went to a poultry swap last weekend, that we didn't know existed. Talked to a couple who breeds silkies and fell in love.
I was really hoping one or two of these that I have would be roosters..so we could get a couple. Now, we're all becoming slightly attached
as they're gaining a little trust in us :)

A EE is a mutt bird with Americana, arcana background. Hatchery's sale them as Americana's

EE stands for Easter Egger. Those will lay different color eggs other than white. Some are blue and some are green. I think sometimes they can lay brown too.

We were iffy about the production red. Thought for a bit, it was a male because it grew so fast..and also started to get a comb really early. But, it seemed to slow down in growth. Both with it's comb, and it's body.
It's the most docile and friendliest of the three.

What do you mean by single comb..? Has several little bumps...and started to get red around it's beak the last couple days.
the roosters usually feather in slower
