I candled some eggs form "wild harvest" look like they could be... I will pop them in the incubator soon as 2 of my eggs hatch.

You can't tell if an egg is fertile if it hasn't been incubated for at least 4 days.. If you bought these eggs from a big company from a grocery store then they're most likely not fertile.

I can tell if an egg is fertile, and I think these are... I just want to know if anyone has hatched any.

If they are from a grocery store, or sold for eating, unless otherwise specified, they probably aren't.

I did not think you could candle, and see if it was fertile. Why don't you crack one open, and see?

Please comment if you have hatched if you have hatched wild harvest before, or tried, for the record, I have hatched grocery eggs before.

I opened 4, 3 looked like a no and one looked like a yes, but still I wanted an opinion that was real.

They could not tell me when I called the phone, it would be nice if someone knew by practice.

These are going in the incubator for a few days. we will see.... dawnacus 521.jpg

Just curious, How are you able to tell what eggs are fertile and what eggs aren't without cracking them open or incubating them?

dawnacus 489.jpg instead of a clear egg you would see an egg that is cloudier, with a red dot that rolls around
