Are wisowbspiders dangerous around ducks ...or just a snack?

The only spiders we have here that get bigger than your thumbnail are the ones I sweep out of the doorway in fall, and the river spiders that terrorize us in the summer. I am not a fan.

But now I understand the necessity in some homes, and always respect their position in the chain of life....but I prefer they stay outdoors.

Thankfully we have no venomous species of spider (or anything) where I live.

Closely related to spiders are scorpions. They are not allowed in my house, and suffer the death penalty if they invade. Which they do. And they bite, and it's very unpleasant. Last summer, I had two, one in bed with me that stung me twice as I slept. Yes, it woke me and the scorpion got executed. The other one was in my bathtub and got executed, also. No. Nothing happened to me. The stings hurt for a few hours, then went away. I don't worry when my chickens find them and eat them. They are mostly harmless. There is one species that has a toxic sting, but they hide out and most of the time are rarely seen.

I don't know that I could deal with scorpions lol. I feel like they'd be like flightless wasps.... but with pincers.
