Are woodchucks any threat?

They are not harmful to chickens. They may eat your expencive plants!

Not to chickens, but they will dig under foundations and eat gardens.

They do make very good stew.

FRICASSEED RACCOON OR WOODCHUCK (GROUNDHOG)

Clean game and remove all the fat. Cut into pieces, rub with salt and pepper and roll in flour. Cook in hot fat until brown. Add two cups of water, cover and simmer for 2 hours or until tender.
Good with carrots, taters and onions.
Ask your neighborhood varmints in for dinner!
