ok today is day 25 of my duck eggs, so i was candling one last time before i put them into lockdown tonight and i have 2 that have internally pipped!

so...... i quickly finish candling and fill up the water trays, reprogram my humidity pump to the higher setting for lockdown, remove the turner
i am officially in lockdown!!!!! now the really hard waiting starts

5 eggs made it to lockdown 1 of which i am not sure about but left it in just in case

I posted my pic on Brinsea's facebook last night...I went with the one already posted here of the baby sticking his head in the shell of the other baby helping.
 
Well I woke this morning to peeping and two pips 3 days early.....My auto turner was still in action and I had to get it out of there and get water in the wells. Hope I didn't mess up the two that had pipped. So I may have ducklings over the next day or two...... My chickens were always bang on 21 days, and I expected the ducks to be bang on 28 days. Tricky little ducklings!

The next week and a half is going to be soooooo long. I don't know how you all can hatch. I would be staring into the incubator for hours on end.

Here is my first to hatch on April 22, 2011. A wheaten marans. This is a Brinsea Oct 20 eco incubator. I had 17 out of 20 eggs hatch. I would like to enter this pic for the contest. I will post on Facebook too.
