Looks like I left out some details on my previous post! I guess I got to excited!

LOL I have eggs due to hatch April 7th in my second 20 eco and I will go "LIKE" both byc and brinsea as soon as I finish this post. My preference would be for the mini eco bator (who cant use another bator!) I will post my pics as soon as they hatch! Thanks again for all the fun BYC and BRINSEA!

I have a question for you Octagon 20 owners -- I am wanting to order the Advance EX. Is it worth the extra $100 over the regular Advance to get the humidity pump?

i bought the incubator without the humidity pump had 2 bad hatches with chicks having trouble hatching because of humidity issues and 1 hatch of duck eggs that all died at hatching because i couldnt get humidity high enough. so i purchased the pump and am now hoping i have better hatches with the greater humidity control and accuracy. with my incubator being inside the house and the a/c running already this year i think its just too dry in my house without the pump. figured the money was well worth it and eggs are expensive when none hatch. hope this helps some

I have an older pro 20 with the pump. I love mine. Once I set it, I just forget about it. I have tube in a gallon milk jug so I dont worry about it running out of water. But I think the new ones have a water resivior built into them.
