Is there anything you can do on
Ebay about harassement? I have sent him 2 messages, the original and another that stated just about the same thing and here are some more he sent me today accusing me of starving MY chickens when his are dying while he takes a picture of it.
"well i understand what you mean. i did not mean to make it sound like i would let that happen or that i do let it happen. but this bird was big, and i do not use weapons against predators like some others would , i also did not know how to scare it off because it would not go anywhere , i came within 5 feet of the bird , tried to toss an empty milk jug at it to scare it ,and it did not let my bird go, it jumped a few feet away and then took off. i took a picture when i had my camera and ran after it when it touched ground i did not know it had a bird in its grasp. because it was behind a small shed . i have never seen first hand another hawk or falcon take another bird from me. this was the first and only time it happened several years ago. in fact they cant take anything from me because i am not breeding and all my fowl are well protected . now what i meant in my auction was that predators often do take farm animals. and it does happen all over the country. i was hoping to take away from the negative view of a predator bird and bring in the fact that they feed on our poultry, everyones poultry !! and it is a large part of why they continue to survive and thrive . i beleive you have got me figured out all wrong. and i will explain one more time just in case. but my analogy of predator birds feeding on livestock all over the country , is about the same as if i were to say a dog will be giving birth to 6 puppies this week. i never said i let the birds eat my animals. but i know they do , i hope you understand because i dont know any other way to explain it. but if i were to say that you should not have trimmed the comb on your orpington rooster in the picture because in the apa standards the dubbing of orpingtons is not required for show. or to say that he has some scratches on his face , and looks like he has been fighting or allowed to fight. and that the birds are being fed 1 kernel of corn which is probably why they are all gathered around your hand starving."
And, 2nd message:
"this is the second part of the message i just sent. if i were to say things and accuse you of mistreating and orpington rooster. by trimming him and not providing adequate feed then maybe you would feel the same way with how you accused me of letting predator birds take my animals. like i said i do not let it happen. i just stated a fact that it does happen, they do come to my farm and everyone elses. though the problem you had is that you took me for a person who lets my birds get eaten alive. it was the only time it happened and i caught it on camera , i named the birds falcon feed to shed light on the fact that we loose poultry to predators in hopes that others will also and be more forgiving to those animals because it is a part of nature. prevention measures HAVE been taken but everything is not 100% . especially free ranged. my birds are not mistreated , and my breeds of fowl helped to edit the apa/aba standards. i do not even trim my standard gamefowl."

I'm so mad, but I'm trying to be the better person.
