I've fought my parents on this for as long as I can remember and I'm curious. Do y'all like icing? Why, or why not? Personally, I like it in small amounts, but I know others who want more icing than cake/cupcake.

Thanks for helping settle a long debate if you post!

NOOOOOO icing for me, UNLESS it's my buttercream recipe and then only a little will do. Everybody else in my family fights for the corner piece that has icing just running down the side.

Icing is good, just not a ton of it!

I decorate cakes for a living for walmart, and I do like icing, but not a lot, I love the smell of the chocolate icing though when I open a new bucket, and the chocolate whipped icing smells like chocolate ice cream!!! tastes like it too!!!!
My sister used to trade my my icing for her cake. she loved icing!

Frosting is often used in large amount to cover up a dry, unappitizing lump of cake. If the cake isn't good enough to eat straight, it shouldn't be smothered in sugar to "fix it".
