we're hoping to move out to a more rural area sometime in the next couple years so i can have horses again!!!
Mrs. A-K-Birdbrain-- if gas weren't so expensive, i would drive from Ohio out to pet your horses!! when you mentioned the soft spot on the end of the nose, i just about burst into tears!! i love that spot! especially when the horse butts it up against your forehead or hand... sweet babies!!! i miss having a horse soooooo much!!!!

Nancy, smell yours for me, softly and make the happy noise:) Tori, Icelandics are the way to go for Alaska;) Had two for 12 years, last owner...very child safe if you work w/them every day.

I've been reading the Craigslist, too, someone had beautiful Blue Lace Red Wy's on...about killed me...

Am not ready for your offer just yet:/ for the GLW roo, I have a roo for every breed BUT the GLW's and have missed a week of fishing while trying to get the fences and coops done...and brought home a flock of 10 bantams yesterday w/a roo who's crowed this morning 10 times beginning at 9:30 am, not too bad! Chickens are EXHAusting!

You ALL should see how that roo is calling the big RIR ladies right now! All by himself, his main ladies must be snickering behind his back...and yesterday when he first got here, my big RIR girls RAN for their coop the first time he crowed LOL! My daughter asked why my hens were screaming and running for the coop! I told her the screaming was the roo and the girls lifted up their skirts and ran asap from the guy but I've been telling them to get ready for their new man, I'm growing a RIR roo for them...Randy, and he's a great guy so far...he's only half the size now.

I wish ALL of you could come play with my horses!! You know you're welcome anytime. If you're lucky and have an Airport with Southwest Airlines, the fares are still GREAT to little-known MacArthur Airport in Long Island. It's the best kept secret in NY.

If I could drive to a central location, I would, just for a petting fest!!!

xxxooo to you all,
Nancy
