Mazuri waterfowl diet
The important thing with feed is that it is formulated for waterfowl or a mixed flock of different type of birds.
I don't feed layer, even to my ducks that are laying. I offer them crushed oyster shell on the side and they take what they need.
You need a feed bowl and a water bowl with a small enough opening they can't fall in. If you have a little ramekin in the kitchen you could use that the first week of you don't want to buy a chick waterer. Then I cut a hole in a cheap flat plastic container for after the first week of so
You need bedding and a brooder, I use puppy pee pads in a kiddie pool. if you are a Costco member, they have the best deal going on pee pads at 100 for $15. You need the kiddie pool to be about twelve inches deep or they will be running all over your house. You need a heat source for them to get under if they are cold and room to get away if they are hot.
You need chick grit for the first 6 weeks, then poultry grit.
Some of all of this things you should find at Tractor Supply, Rural King of any local farm or feed supply store. These sorts of things can for a lot more if you order on Amazon, if your local Tractor supply doesn't have them you can usually order them on line at Tractor Supply and have them delivered to the store for free.
