I'm an old broad, what can I say? I remember when he was a hot, handsome young stud in the movie "Full Metal Jacket" back in the early 80s.

I still see him as that handsome guy. He's got nice, chiseled features. But his character is the devil incarnate.

One of the things they're replacing the shows with are talk shows that are easier/cheaper to produce. But I agree... let's bring back some good, old-fashioned GAME SHOWS! Remember Match Game, anybody? Password was always fun to watch. It was hard and always made you think. I used to love the original Newlywed Game, and I guess there's a new one that Sherri Sheppard is hosting.

I always liked, "What's My Line?", as well. We learned the skill of deductive reasoning by process of elmination when we'd watch those kinds of game shows.

It would be kind of neat if they replaced the daytime stories with those kinds of shows that engage you and get you to think. To me, that's more fun than anything else!

That's why we watch Jeopardy every night... we call it "Brain Food".

Now, that would be a fun thread to start over in the Games & Jokes area... do a story thread where everyone contributes and make it a "soap opera" but the characters are the chickens in everybody's backyards... we can post pics and make up captions and stories to go with it... could be neat.
