Duh - you mentioned that in your earlier post.Buff / pilgrim mix. I can't believe how cute it is.
Do you expect additional hatchlings or will you be mama to a (needy) solo gosling? Been there, done that.

I have three other eggs in the incubator right now. This was the only one that had internally pipped the day before yesterday. I'm not hopeful on at least one of the eggs as the air cell looked too small last time I candled. What a nice surprise!One of my Pilgrim hens stopped for over two weeks and has now resumed. She’s laid six in a week.
