Arghh, another drop off. In labour? update. help now please!

She's probably a first time mom and stressed over being in a new environment and being so close to labor. You might keep the lights off, keep the activity level down for her, and provide her with a nesting box (a cardboard box with a hole in the side and an old towel on the bottom) to consider for having her kittens in.

Cats a like rabbits when it comes to having litters. Just keep her quite and let her do her thing.

Good Luck! awww If you were only closer!

Really want to see her!

When you set up the box, put one of your old sleepshirts or something you've worn lately in there. It will comfort her.
Or
Cover your lap with a towel and cuddle her, then set her, towel & all, into the nesting box when you need a break.

If you're on maternity leave, then you know birth is messy. Don't expect to want the towel or clothing back!

Also, if she's very malnourished then she may need help during this process. Can you call your vet and let them know what's going on?

I had a wonderful ginger cat for years. He was found on the side of the road with his mother & brother. Mom was ill and died. Scooter was one of the best cats I'd ever owned! Sure miss that cat...

She looks like a sweety!

Oh, and I wasn't commenting on the photo, I was trying to see if I could fix it
