Ok Very gently turn the kitten on its side and gently pull it out, go slowly so not to tear the mother and sperate the babys spine,
You will have to clip the umbilical. about half way between the belly button and hte rest of the sack

Is the neck being squeezed? if so a small amount of veggie oil just inside the vent will help slip the litten out, sounds like she is going to have trouble, maybe because of mallnutrition.

I hate to say this tbut this may be the case right up untill all ittens are birthed, be prepared some may be still born. I am right here I will not go anywhere keep the converation going and I will help as best I can.

I used human first aid that I know I cut the umbilical cord and tied it off. But the sack has not came out yet. the kitten is VERY tiny. there was abig gush of blood , it stopped now... where is my darn vet
what should i donow?

Another kitten. still attached. Why would she be retaining the placentas. Should I wait or try to gently pull the placenta out?

just keep her quiet as possible, the blood is normal, I wonder if she hasnt already taken care of the after birthing?
next kit should be due a half hour after the first one,
any signs of trouble will be heavy panting , excdessive pushing, wit no results.

If you can can you bump up the heat in the bathroom or where ever she is? it will help keep the tiny kit going , it needs to be kept warm right now. Mom too.
Vets never seem to understand the urgency of a cat in labour , it really makes me cranky. but they sure want that almight buck though. grr

Okay so the second kitten is here. It has no sack around it but the umilical cord still is going inside mom. How long should I give her to chew through it?

If you can get ahold of the plecenta gently tug it out. if it isnt taken out she will go spetic in a very short period of time.
I worry about the fact the plecentas are breaking ahead of birth, this isnt normal, ugh why why why am I so far away.
