Good morning. Yes they are all alive and nursing right now, mama looks good just painfully thin. Now that her belly is gone you can really see just how thin she is. I have a vet appt at 1015 and will let everyone know what happens then. Thanks again for all your help gypsy2621.

Oh I am so glad to hear everylittle fluff ball made the night, I kept checking the thread all niht " just in case".
Cassi even asked this morning before school how the babies faird the night.
I cant wait to hear how he vets appointment went.
No thanks needed just doing the best I could under such hard circumstances.
Followed this yesterday, got back on this morning wondering how it all went.
for everyone who helped out in the situation. Congrats on the new babies! I am a sucker for kittens!
Btw, I have a stray cat at my house too that I think is expecting...she has been here several months, eats and sleeps on the porch but won't let us near her. Looks like she is now going to have kittens, I am curious to see if she will have them here, or go away to have them...I may need help!
we are here if you should need uus
curious do youknow if she is a feral or just some kitty someone dropped off? if you can you can always leave te door partially open and hope she will come in to make friends, can always move her food inches nearer the door till you have her feeling comfy coming inside. just a thought.

Sounds like a feral cat. We tamed our feral by sitting with him when we put food out. You know the drill, start with the food bowl way far away and something absolutely irresistible inside it. First few days you just stay quiet or hum a little and then you move the bowl closer and start talking to kitty. Eventually you offer the food in hand or try to touch while they're eating. Now the feral cat of ours thinks he owns me.
Oh, this cat definitely thinks she owns us! She sits on the porch and complains when the food bowl is empty! She plays with our other cats and doesn't run away when we close like she used to, but still doesn't trust us enough to let us hold or pet her. She has probably been here since September and a few cold nights in the winter she actually came in, but hid and ran right back out. I would guess she is feral, I think there is somewhere close by that several "homeless" cats live, because sometimes she invites her friends over for a meal or two, but they never stay around like she does. We have a big box with straw in it set up on the porch just so she will have shelter. She shares it with our other cats. I am just curious if she will actually have them at our house and run the risk of us "getting ahold of them" or if she will leave her comfort zone and have them elsewhere.
Still waiting for an update on Momma and her new babies!
