Arghh, another drop off. In labour? update. help now please!

Around here there are many rescue groups who will take in and foster, then adopt out, dogs/puppies & cats/kittens from the animal shelters. Are there any rescue groups that will take animals from shelters in your area? If so, I would contact your local shelter and see if they can hook you up with the rescue groups. Maybe they would be willing to take the mamas & babies once they're old enough for adoption.

I think you need to have your username changed to "stray kitty magnet" or something like that.

The others were eating so I stole this little girl and took the pic. They are walking but very unsteady. they are very cute liitle kitties.

Well, those mama kitties had a guardian angel watching over them for sure!
Unfortunately, if the regular shelter is at capacity, then the no-kill shelters probably have a waiting list as well.

See if the vet's office will let you post adoption signs.
Also, ask if they know of any family that recently lost a pet who might want a kitten.
I know our vet's office keeps a list of 'families in mourning' that they knew took really good care of their pets. When they encounter a situation like yours, they call folks that have had some time pass since their loss, and ask if they would consider helping out an animal in need. The receptionist told me that most families, after being without a pet for about a month or more, are ready to add a new member to the family.
And she said some people specifically ask to be called if such a situation arises.

I'm hoping the guardian angel for these kitties aids you in finding good homes swiftly and smoothly.
Good luck!
