What a neat thread! I follow the Almanac for all kinds of things. Gardening, fishing....I even went by the phases of the moon to schedule surgery on my wrists years back. I haven't had my charts done yet but find this all very interesting!
I have "THe Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" which I LOVE but I dont have the time anymore to put into plotting star charts and things like that. My belief is that, when were were born has some effect on our lives but that our beliefs, faith, and choices have more infulence than planetary allignment. I do believe that it DOES shape our personalities strongly though.
Dragons tend to be popular individuals who are always full of life and enthusiasm, with a reputation for being fun-loving. They make good priests, artists and politicians.
As the noble animal symbol that represents the Chinese emperors, Dragons are born leaders and masters of ceremonies. And because of this, every Chinese parent is hoping to have a Dragon child. Dragon people get things started and keep them moving. They are feisty and gifted with power and luck. Most people look up to the Dragon.
Dragons are born monarchs. As far as they can see, their power is indisputable. Dragons are idealists, perfectionists, they are born thinking they are perfect and they are inflexible. Dragons are also aggressive and determined, going after what they want is second nature to them
I feel like this is really true if I could ever figure out which way to go. I feel like what ever I end up doing it will be with much passion
The Dragon is gifted, intelligent, tenacious, willing and generous. He can do anything. No matter whether the Dragon chooses an artistic career, medical or political one, he is going to shine in it. He will be a success wherever he goes.
This is the Aquarian Dragon
AQUARIAN DRAGON
Impractical and atypical, these Dragons are intrigued by the shock of the new. Most importantly, they are intellectuals, very individualistic and original, born ahead of their time. Receptive and open-minded, they are held in high regard by all.
1988 is the Earth Dragon
EARTH DRAGON: The Earth Dragon is a quieter, more reflective Dragon, He will be appreciative of other's opinions even if he fails to agree with them. He is reasonable in his approach to problems and his leadership is less dictatorial. He is not given to outbursts of temper, but at the same time demands respect. He knows the value of cooperation and is more diplomatic than the other Dragons. He is ambitious, but his initiatives are less hurried and more carefully thought out.
