Arizona Chickens

That official "crazy" thing crossed my mind this evening when I was sitting on the outdoor swing with a chicken sharing my pumpkin seeds. One for me, one for her.. I even cracked hers open for her. I thought "speaking of nuts, I am one". lol

Y'all are cracking me up with the puke stories!!! Why is it always so funny when it happens to someone else?

Oh yeah, camping is the worse time for children puking. No showers and usually not enough towels.
So far our dogs have escaped the camping puke, though. They are usually inside the sleeping bags below our feet. They're small and get cold.

Yeah, and it was raining--had been for days. We were in the middle of nowhere too; it would have been so bad. We have a large dog that we all fight over at bed time--she's so warm! A small foot warmer would be nice though.

Here's my three little EEs from Mahalo4, they are soooo cute

One of my earliest memories is of my parents taking me (before my sister was born, so <4) to Dinosaur National Monument, and then waking up in the middle of the night in the back of Mooncruiser (my dad's green-striped GMC van) barfing my guts out.

I clearly remember the face of the ranger who tried to help my parents, and also remember biting said ranger when they held me under the hand-pump to hose me off.

Mine just left after 10 days, and I swear we had those exact same conversations! In addition, there were all the subtle hints and tsk-tsking about my child rearing abilities (but that's another forum)

. Good luck, I feel your pain.

NO WAY!!! I must have married your brother, because it sounds like you are describing my mother in law!!! Hmmm...small world!

Laree--I am so sorry about the sick kiddo. Just keep a list so you can get back at him when you are old and he is taking care of you. And I loved your article. Those cookies sound yummy, and delightful to make (except for the minor injury). That looks like a really neat site. I need to check it out more.
