Just the idea makes me gag a little bit.

Able? you mean you have had no failures? Jealous here. This is my "test batch" as Mahonri called it. A real learning experience and I cannot wait to improve the system and try again. Fan, maybe better temp and humidity reporting and control.

No, he's had failures.... I'm seeing both roos do their thing with the 14 hens, but I'm starting to wonder if they are now shooting blanks. Gal in Cali that got my eggs about the same time had 16 of 18 developing.

Mahalo: Can't wait to see what the Leghorn chick looks like as the Splash roo is usually the one I see getting the job done with her... ought to be a gorgeous EE.

Mclevinson I have had the opportunity just not the stomach,is that better said.
Mahonri will take some pics when they dry out, 2 out so far leghorn & BWA.

I candled last night also. The white eggs are easy to see through, out of 12 one was clear, all others are moving. Out of the 12 Delawares one was clear. I can see into all of these but it's hard just when I think nothing is moving I see movement. The air pocket looks the right size on all of them. Pray-fully they will all hatch.

hello how is everyone this morning

has anyone ever donated plasma
and is there risk, i dont know
if its worth it having a needle
in my arm for three hours
and it pays 20-30 dollars
but maybe i can save up
to get some nice chickens

No real risk. But there are better and faster ways to make money.

Even taco bell pays 8.50 an hour. Plus at TB, you only have to deal with teenagers instead of drug addicts.

Ummmm let us know about the eggtopsy. I hope your other 4 all have little chicks inside!!!! What day are you at? With mine I had to switch from the full size mag light to the mini mag light at 10 days because the big flashlight didn't concentrate the beam enough. Also, some eggs I was able to see movement better by looking through the air cell (you can see the veins next to the air cell, and see movement along the edge). I've had some I didn't see move and was worried and rechecked the next day and saw them move.

My ex husband use to donate plasma all the time when he was in the service. Besides being a little goofy I think he's just fine health-wise. Back in the day though $20.00 was a little more impressive.

My brother used to do this in college for extra food money (he had a job too), and I don't think he ever had any problems. I think he went down by ASU somewhere.
