I'm right with you. My first one pipped this morning and got going fast, now it's taking a break. I had three pipping by the time I left for the babies Dr. appointment in Chandler at 9 and by 8 this evening there is 6 out of 21. Good so far right?
A note on the brooder box. The cardboard got wet and was hard to dry, the plastic tub on the other hand I can wash and dry within 10 minutes when they make a mess. Which they will make..
So happy for you!!
How fun!!!!!

Can't wait to see the little fuzzy butts!!!
So, mine are about 12 hours behind yours
It's so funny because the last few days, I've never actually caught one moving, so I was getting worried. But yesterday and this morning esp, I kept thinking I saw one move out of the corner of my eye, but couldn't get one to do it when I was looking at it!
Hmmm, will have to think on it. With the cardboard, I would probably just toss and replace when it was wet. The Albertson's produce dept would be my friend
I sometimes thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. The eggs would move when I wasn't looking and would chirp as long as my ears are not up next to the egg. lol.. Actually my new bator is the one doing all the hatching. I worried many times about the varied temp. The borrowed bator which is digital and more sophisticated is at day 0 20 minutes with no pipping.
