Arizona Chickens

My poor babies! Dessimated! Destroyed, all of them, in one night by a bobcat who managed to pull them through 2 fences to kill them. Everyone of my cute little babies is gone. I'm so sad, so sick, so devestated!

I am so, so sorry! That must be devasting!!! I agree with Becky - your coop looks secure, at least secure against larger predators. Are you sure it was a bobcat? I've heard of racoons pulling chickens through fences, but not bobcats.

I agree, nurseronda's coop looks so secure! What time of day did this happen? Do you live in town or nearer to the outer edge of town?

I too have felt the impact of bobcats, losing many ducks and partridges to them.... and they did indeed pull adult chukar partridges through 1 1/2" kennel wire, somehow.
