I too have felt the impact of bobcats, losing many ducks and partridges to them.... and they did indeed pull adult chukar partridges through 1 1/2" kennel wire, somehow.

I hated to put down such beautiful creatures, but my birds and rabbits take priority!

where my brother live in surprise
i dont know if they were bobcats
but they growl loud i said hope
they dont attack the goats or the horses
they can growl really loud, there were
alot of coyotes also were he live
on 163 ave and grand ave in surprise az

My maternal grandfather was a huge fan of RIR. It's all he would raise.. Said they were not only the best layers, but the best meat birds.
sometimes when the chicks were still in the brooder, grandma would sneak leghorn pullets in... She liked the big white eggs...
