Gorgeous flock!

I agree! I'll bet there are some real characters in there.

Thanks

You making room in case we get any Icelandics? If not could you please inquire about re-homing with a serious Islandic person? I'm not equipped for breeding and I know they're rare. Always happy to hatch! Now I need to work on the wine cooler incubator so I can separate the eggs at lockdown. What a fun day I'm having!

I went out for breakfast and ended up with a baby sparrow (No nest! A server had brought him in yesterday and then left him). He drinks from a dropper and poops, so he seems healthy, but one of his legs is dislocated. I'm not sure if I should try to reset it or just leave it be. Poor birdy! He is almost fully feathered and ready to go.

Does anyone know where you can buy several different types of chicks here in the valley this time of year? I have been having a hard time finding Delawares, Buff Orp, Americanas, Silver Laced Wyn., or Buff brahams all around the same age and I am thinking I might have to order online to find them. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Also I would love some advice on ducks if anyone has any. My son wants one real bad and I have heard mixed reviews about having them. Are they noisy, messy, can they be mixed with the chickens if done at a young age. Do you have to have a body of water for them.

Thanks,
Teresa
