I couldn't stand it.
I was thinking I wouldn't candle this time around but I was croaking with curiosity...so I grabbed the first 4 eggs within reach; 2 Aloha 2 Trader Joes. Mahonri, one of the Aloha is developing!
And both of the TJ's eggs are developing!
I'm not going to candle the rest of them, because I want the temp and humidity to stay as level as possible I'll candle again in 11 days, at lockdown.
New here, live in Waddell, learning a ton just begun. Have 1 flock of 16 different kind for different reasons, and some week old chicks in my house 6 ornamental, I hope to merge the flock, we will see. I live on 3 acres of irrigated land and we are just starting our hobby farm after 10 years of dreaming of it. We have five kids 9 years to 9 months old both through birth and adoption, my four older ones are 9, 7.5 , 7 and 6.5 my youngest is a baby. I am crazy mostly I blame the kids for that.
trying to brave this heat, my poor chickens are free range but merge on my porch that we are not using and it is a mess!!! power spray it down, and gave the chickens a bit of a pressure wash too, they mostly liked it, well not so much but the mist was nice for me and I ended up with one of my Acona's on my shoulder and now I swear I have fleas. can chickens get fleas?
anyway dogs are loose and I am desperately craving cookies because I started a diet today. joy.
