Arizona Chickens

I've been watching these storms approach Tucson only to dissipate as they pass over town and re-appear on the other side for the past couple weeks. It has been sooooo frustrating. It's coming down in buckets tonight! I just hope it continues for awhile.

We are getting a gully gusher down here too...lots of wind, dust, thunder, lightening and now rain...I have coming in one window...gotta love renting for another couple weeks....Last I saw was moving NE, but hard to tell as circling around us...heres to rain, but batton them chickies down....

It had been so long, I'd almost forgotten that smell too! And oh, do I ever love that smell! I hope it drifts your way.

Glad you all are seeing some relief and hope there isn't too much wind as those storms look mean....

How many pretty feathers is she looking for?

A bunch, we can whip out her project start pretty quickly, but will have to manufacture a little at a time over next few months. i'm looking for special beads for it too, but she can
wire wrap until I find them.

GAH! Where where you last week when I culled 30+ roos?

Well, if this storm doesnt soak everything, I will pick up all the feathers laying about and send them to you.

We went from 108 to now 82 in about an hour...we are still getting blasts of rain, but really dark to the NE, and still thunder and lightning...

Meg, if you need beads I have tons, can send if you give me an idea on what she wants, colors, type, etc. I hope I have no feathers from roos, but I do have sun conure feathers and blue lovebird feathers if she wants to make earrings or some smaller, I have mega earring hoops too...but a couple of weeks out in the mail or whatever, as we are moving to the other end of town down here...we finally bought something
